Geared Toward Those New to BI; Fascinating to Experienced Users

Like the author of this book, I have used BI tools for a large part of my career. While I found it much of the book fascinating, a large part seemed to be geared toward newer BI users. The book talks about everything from what is business intelligence to some available tools to some tips and tricks for using BI tools. I enjoyed the case studies the most because i felt they were relatable. Having used PowerBI, Qlik and Cognos, I find myself going places and saying I would love to see their data solutions. Imagine sitting in line at Hershey park and saying I really would love to see their business intelligence solutions even more than the chocolate.
The case studies in this book are a quick behind the scenes snip of what other companies are doing and it always me to map where my company is in comparison. The language is clear and easy to understand and easy to read. The book does not get weighed down it technical details. In my opinion this book is great for a beginner.
Thanks to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for the opportunity to read this ARC.

Needs To Be Included In Business Classes

Business instructors should have this as part of their class because it will teach students a concept called business intelligence or BI. It was something that is not usually taught but it should. I liked it when it explained the historical timeline of BI and how we are currently in the third version. The business world should read this to see how important BI is.
